PIPES FOR PRAIRIE DROUGHTS?

Five of the 25 largest fresh water lakes on Earth — Lake Winnipeg, Reindeer Lake, Lake Athabasca, Great Slave lake, and Great Bear Lake — are all entirely contained within northwest Canada.

We build pipelines for oil and other hydrocarbon liquids and gasses do we not?

Why not then for that most precious resource of all — fresh water?

The Romans did it with aqueducts 2,000 years ago.

Such water used for human consumption and agriculture will eventually end up in rivers and atmospheric rain feeding those very same lakes.

You’re welcome.
